Business plan development and financial analyses; coordination and facilitation of joint meetings to develop national strategic plans and policies; technical assistance in the post-planning phase to develop specific, measurable activities that ensure implementation.
Laboratory audit and audit tool development; biosafety training (BSL2 and BSL3); laboratory documentation in preparation for ISO 17025 and 15189 accreditation; development and management of proficiency testing programs according to ISO/IEC 43-1 guidelines.
The Malaria Molecular External Quality Assessment Program (M2EQAP) is in its second year. This free scheme is designed to assist scientists providing malaria recrudescence versus reinfection testing services.
We now have participation from 6 reference laboratories in 4 countries and are preparing to expand outside of SE Asia.
