GSSHealth signs contract with AFENET to provide communications and IT support to the African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM). GSSHealth will assist with the quarterly ASLM Newsletter and provide technical support on the ASLM Web Portal.

October 2010

The first "Molecular Surveillance of Drug-Resistant Malaria in the Greater Mekong Subregion" workshop is held by the University of Maryland, Malaria Division, Center for Vaccine Develeopment; Mahidol University and GSSHealth. The workshop was attended by researchers from 5 countries across SE Asia. The workshop was preceeded with the first round of M2EQAP proficiency testing.

GSSHealth joins other winners of the British Airways Face2Face business competition.

August 2009
GSSHealth awarded 3-year subcontract to establish network of surveillance laboratories for the detection of malaria drug-resistance across the Greater Mekong Subregion.

June 2009
GSSHealth contracts with major Maryland university to set up a biosafety level 3 laboratory for TB culture in northern Nigeria.

GSSHealth is incorporated in the State of Maryland.
